My Assessment #3 post

What I have learnt so far...
Well I now know how to use html and css, It was ok and pretty enjoyable once I figured out how to use all the code to adapt to particular personal tastes on my website. For my delicious I have four stacks (1 MPI104 related and three personal). I haven't really seen the point of delicious but I suppose it has its uses. For my flikr I have uploaded a number of people and favourite a few photos, I have found it very useful to upload videos and photos of my animation to post on the forum, the only drawback being that we can only upload two video's a month.
Bloger has been very useful and a pretty enjoyable experience. I have liked the process of changing and adapting my blog and viewing posts that others have made, in particular, Aidan's post on the joy of beards and Liam Neeson.
Using the html code was actually not as bad as I originally suspected, using the code at first was both daunting and grinding but towards the end once I got used to the jargon and discovering new ways to use the code to do specific things like align images and text in different ways using html was actually ok. Css seemed pretty weird and inconvenient but once I created multiple pages It was fine
We have learnt about rss feeds, websites and maintaining an Internet presence and has been relatively enjoyable through both semesters.

My html website (MPI104)

My html website consists of 4 pages. These pages include a 'gallery', an 'inspirational animators' page, a 'home' page and an 'about me' page outlining what I am doing at the moment and briefly outlines some of my interests. I have changed my fonts to suit my preferences and the colours accordingly.
The Home page consists of a menu bar with links to my about me page, gallery, the home page (to easily refresh the site) and to the master blog. Bellow contains a web counter for the page views and a quick little intro for people viewing the site. Below this is an 'iframe' window of my blog. Following this is a quick post about the content of what can be found on the site and some button links so that you can contact me in regards to my website via email, view my flikr, blog, and delicious
The gallery consists of another menu bar so that you can navigate to and from the home page and the about me page, The rest of the page includes images from what I am currently working on and two videos: my walk cycle and my animatic for my 1 min animation
The about me page has a basic layout with some more navigation links back to the gallery and home page. It also contains a photo of myself. The inspirational animators page is a list of three of my favorite animators and a brief blurb about each.
From this assessment I have learned how to use html and css to a relatively competent  level, once I got better at the jargon of it I started to find ways to overcome my problems (and create new ones :P) more easily. The thing I am most proud of is inserting buttons into my website home page, as it took me quite a while to figure and I think I achieved what I set out to do.
